The interpretation of the dream «Magistrate»

General

Spiritual authority coupled with spiritual knowledge is often represented by a dream of a magistrate. It signifies that we can be susceptible to both. It may well be that a part of us knows best what we should be doing, and our conscious, everyday working self is deliberately flouting that inner authority. A magistrate in dreams has sufficient authority to correct our misdemeanours. There are times when we need to be told what to do, or perhaps to have somebody who is more powerful than we are take control within our lives. A magistrate in everyday life imposes the laws of society for the good of the community in which we live. A judgement must be made as to what is for the good of all. In dreams, this figure will perform the same function, generally guiding us towards more acceptable behaviour. Also consult the entries for Authority Figures in People and Judge/Judgement.

Miller’s dream book

To dream of a magistrate, foretells that you will be harassed with threats of law suits and losses in your business. See Judge and Jury

Nostradamus’s dream book

If you dream of a magistrate this foretells trouble with law suits and other small legal matters. If the dreamer faces the magistrate in a court of law as the defendant it is likely he or she will experience a loss of freedom and rights. A woman who dreams she marries a magistrate will find herself judging between two choices in mates.
