An earthy, down-to-earth person: no dazzling plans and projects, only practicality and reality. He calls things by their names and demands the same of others. You take in only what you can see, hear and touch, what can be confirmed by material things and provable facts - and no fantasies. People may call you a plain prosaic soul, but it is to you that they turn for a practical answer. You actually get things done, while others merely talk about them. Few imagine your hidden depths - you are too proud and too independent to reveal them or to put them on display.Capricorn is earth in its purest form, which is to say you are rather secretive and like directing matters from the wings without stepping onto the stage. Friends and loved ones should be chosen from earth or water - earth needs water, unless you wish to become a desert. Earth can also live with fire, if it does not object to fire's occasional revels, and with air, provided it can bear the odd hurricane.Your strengths: practicality, reliability, the ability to live within your income. You do not expect too much from life; you are consistent, persistent, hard-working, and able to give support and protection. You may also show such shortcomings as: dullness, lack of imagination, stinginess, a pessimistic view of things, stubbornness, harshness towards yourself and others, callousness.Home conditions: you should live on the land, pressing your soles firmly to your element; you love gardens, greenhouses and window boxes of flowers as a compromise. You need calm stability and a secure job.Your luck-bringing spirit is the gnome; he lives in an inconspicuous burrow, in the garden, and may make his home in a greenhouse or in a window box of plants.
