Libra's talents show themselves most vividly in dealings with partners. They are unrivalled masters at reaching compromise and reconciling warring sides. They are attentive and courteous in conversation and both like and know how to work with people. Venus, the mistress of Libra, gives them a love of beautiful things and pleasant relations. If a client must be charmed or goods shown off to advantage, Libra will handle the task better than anyone. Concluding contracts and legal matters – are another of their strong points. A high standing among those around them matters a great deal to them, so many of their actions are dictated by the wish to look good. Libra fits in easily in a small team where everyone is in plain view, or works alone, finding clients for themselves. In pursuing their aim, often representing clients' interests, they will act within the law and the existing rules. Taking responsible decisions is not Libra's strongest suit. Because of this they are not very fond of holding managerial posts. If Libra does become a manager, they will represent the interests of a particular group. It is with that group that they consult when taking decisions. Usually Libra has sources of income hidden from those around them, and over a lifetime sharp swings in their material position are possible. Libra in a subordinate position approaches assigned tasks very emotionally and does not always advertise the means by which they solve them. Their success and promotion often depend on the support of partners. Being good judges of character, they calculate in advance how this or that acquaintance may prove useful, and know how to appear in the right place at the right time.
