Taurus is the symbol of solidity and reliability in the zodiac. It is a sign of the earth element, so Taureans approach everything from a practical point of view. More than anything in the world they value their own comfort and a stable material position. It is precisely in such conditions that the unhurried, gentle Taurus can reveal his talents. Venus, the ruler of this sign, gives Taureans a good sense of form and a love of beautiful things. What is more, Taureans do not merely take pleasure in touching the world of beauty; they are themselves able to create works of art, or at the very least to adorn their own surroundings or someone else's. They have a very fine feeling for the world of objects: what goes with what, and how to make things last longer. That is why there are many designers among them. Taureans are true owners. This applies to human relationships as well. If he invests his energy, his means and his emotions in something, he unfailingly expects a return. Representatives of this sign know how to build lasting relationships in the family. A home that lacks for nothing is their ideal, and they spare neither effort nor time to achieve it. Taureans are slow: when starting anything they take a long time to get going. But after thorough preparation they can work in the chosen direction for a long while. Their enthusiasm goes unnoticed by others, yet Taureans themselves feel their own desires very well. It is practically impossible to knock them off the course they have set. This is a very stubborn sign. Taureans offer no direct resistance; they simply pay no attention to obstacles. As a rule they carry out their tasks on their own, neither demanding nor expecting anyone's help. The saying fits them: those who pull the cart get more loaded on. But there is no force that will make a Taurus work for a bare idea. The results of his work must without fail strengthen his position.
